How to Choose Your Utah Adventure

May 5th, 2008  |  Published in Utah Adventures  |  1 Comment

Utah Adventurers seemed to be burdened by the choice of where there next adventure should be.  In Utah, these weekend warriors have to choose from Moab, Zion’s national Park, Goblin Valley, Strawberry Reservoir, and many others.  With so little time to enjoy all the amenities that Utah has to offer, how do you choose the right adventure?

Well here is our advice, the factor of time or season will drive you to a premium adventure.  In Utah the seasons are usually distinctly separated.  When it starts to snow at the end of October, it usually snows for four months and limits the kind of thrill seeking that you a can do, such as world renowned snowboarding, world class snowmobiling, unparalleled snow skiing, etc. Then spring brings a new hope for alternative adventures. Traditionally this time of the year is spent hiking at Zion’s National Park or climbing the dunes of the Little Sahara in a Dune buggy or ATV’s.  When its time for summer the heat causes these adventures to cool off in Bear Lake, Strawberry Reservoir, Sand Hollow Reservoir, Lake Powell or one many lakes and reservoirs this state has to offer.  They spend most of there time Water skiing, Wakeboarding, Wave running or a variety of other water sports meant to give them a thrill ride. Summer stays for four months, and then on schedule, the temperature cools bringing Falls beautiful color change.  This is the perfect time to become a manly-man, hitching the camper to the truck and heading out to nature to hunt the record breaking elk that Utah so proudly boasts.

In Utah, during the different seasons, there are multiple activities to rescue you from the everyday tasks of life.  You just have to correlate the right season with the right activity and then get out and do them.

In August, 2008, I traveled to Utah with my family and wanted to rent Personal Water Crafts (PWC) at Lake Jordenelle. I was directed to Club Rec of Heber and they were able to provide us with the best service possible, including well maintained machines, delivery service, and a great time. I would highly recommend them and would use them again in the future.
